Everyday Chain Jewelry Collection Now in Shop!

Sometimes I find myself with an abundance of supplies. This time I decided to play around with my chain stash and deviate from my usual felt design to bring my clients some affordable jewelry options. The change is actually refreshing; to approach design from a different perspective that requires no sewing! All of the chain I use is soldered, and much sturdier than open links chain.

WHITE Magazine.

I've added this magazine cover to my press space in the sidebar because one of my bunting necklaces was featured on its glossy pages! WHITE magazine is based in Australia so I won't get to actually see it in real life, but even seeing photos is exciting for me. 

There I am on page 19. The photographer(s) who did the styling for the editorial blog over at White Wall Photography & Design and their work is dreamy. I'm sad I can't see the rest of this shoot because I'm sure it's stunning! (They posted a little peek here.)

New Limited Edition Lace Medallion Necklaces.

A close family friend was married last month on a lovely sunny Sunday. Two of my sisters were in the wedding, and as they walked down the grassy aisle toward the waiting white arch where the bride and groom would declare their intentions to love, honor and cherish, they held beautiful flowers whose stems were wrapped in sweet white lace. Being the one who receives all the bits and pieces of textiles in the family, some of that lace ended up with me. It can now be found in the shop, stitched to pretty autumnal colored felt. 

All of my pieces are created with lots of love and care, but you can be sure that these necklaces have extra special love already in them from their previous life. The limited edition lace medallion necklaces are set up as you-choose-your-own. All necklaces come with an antiqued bronze chain, and there is a variety of colors to choose from. There is only one of each pendant though!

Color options available are oatmeal, marigold, midnight, emerald burgundy, nutmeg, and sage.

Organizing :: Headbands and Necklaces.

I was mulling over the fact that I had too many largish necklaces and a handful of headbands that didn't have a good place to live. I wanted to find a simple solution where they would be out of my way, but wouldn't get smashed and tangled. These inexpensive robe hooks from Target did the trick. Plus my walls are a little bit happier too.

I've been having so much fun stitching up these delightful one-of-a-kind tea rose series pieces! Not too long ago, four new necklaces found their way into the shop.

New Things Popping Up.

Wow. I've been really bad with keeping you guys in the loop on new goodies in the shop! I recently added three new, and smaller, necklaces to the limited edition and one-of-a-kind tea rose line. I really love them!

New Necklace Line :: Color Progression

Last week I added three new necklaces to the shop. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty excited about them. I love the longer lengths, the doubled up gold chain, and the thick plushy goodness of the colorful circles. 

It was fun to work on some new styling for the photos as well. The hoops are my handiwork, and the lovely fabric plant was made by the gals at Jane Joss. I'm also sporting a new dress. Since I struggle so much with finding jeans that fit, I've decided that I'll be wearing a lot of dresses when the warmer weather hits.  

Anyway, the new necklaces are currently available in yellow, green, and blue. Also coming soon- matching dangle earrings! As soon as my supplies arrive I'll be getting to work on them.

New, New, New!

I was a busy little bee last week stitching up new stuff for the shop! Making my hanging owl plushies was so, so much fun that I had to force myself to stop, and, you know, feed my kids and stuff.

Also added to my inventory were two new daisy headbands! These pretties are perfect for Spring, and Summer too.

It had been a while since I stitched up a storm cloud necklace, and I had a blast tacking down and puffing up some aqua colored tulle. There is also a sweet new bunting necklace available.
