Kitchen Inspiration :: Farmhouse Yellows
After fours years of living in our home, we'll finally be painting our downstairs living space in the next month or two. I'm so excited to cover up these ugly old walls with some fresh Benjamin Moore paint. I hope to get to our local hardware store this week to pick up some paint chips and start the process of whittling down my color selection to just a handful of choices. It has been a long-time dream of mine to have a yellow kitchen. I don't have the white eyelet curtains (yet), but my current red gingham valance will do (for now). While surfing the web for some inspiration, I came across these lovely images.

I think it's pretty clear what kind of style I gravitate toward. That's one of the reasons that I love Martha Stewart, and sites like Pinterest, Decor8, and Apartment Therapy- besides giving me oodles of ideas and inspiration, they help me to pinpoint what direction I want to go in before I even start a project.
